So I want a second tattoo, and I want it to be bass related somehow. Seems cliche to get a bass clef, but I don't really care, I plan on incorporating several clefs into some sort of geometric design. My hope is to create a "triskelion" ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triskelion - I had to look it up to know what that symbol was called) out of bass clefs. I attached a rough mockup but keep in mind it was done in Windows Paint so it's kind of uneven and messy, but you get the idea. Obviously I'll have the artist draw an even, geometrically correct one This will be larger, and on my right calf. This is just an idea for the artist to run with - I believe in artists adding their own touch so hopefully he'll embellish it or add a couple other touches. Would appreciate your input!

My feeling is that, as is, unless it's HUGE, it will be "lost" on open skin. Just my opinion. |

Even if it was something similar with a cirlce around it, it might stand alone. Being open like that........I'd put something around it. |

Because it is. I like that tattoo idea quite a lot.

Also like someone mentioned it would cool if it was put against something, or even just a fade/glow effect. |

Your design is not really good IMO.
And I am saying this as someone who has been around tattoos quite a bit in his life & has about 60 hours of work done on my body.
My 2 cents. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
