Any guesses on how many people get injured tonight due to lack of offseason workouts? I'm going with 2.

The last coach to win a Superbowl was George Seifert in 1995.
Since then we've had:
The Mariucci era (pretty good)
The Erickson era (what were they thinking?)
The Nolan era (disappointing and clearly in over his head)
The Singletary era (not much different from Nolan)
Other than with Erickson I was excited with each hire and thought he might be the guy to take the Niners back to the Super Bowl. I guess I'm like Charlie Brown with the football because I'm a believer in Jim Harbaugh.
I don't really care what the score is on Friday, I just want to see some signs that the offense has moved lightyears beyond what it has been in the last couple years where there was no creativity and the defense never seemed fooled.
Sports have been taking up less and less of my time and focus over the last few years but I'm really looking forward to this NFL season. |

I'm actually surprised he didn't stick around for Luck's senior season, unless he came a year early to make sure he won the Luck lottery...

They'z just winners is not an acceptable or logical argument to back up the point of why they should be starting somewhere. Neither is the race card (in Vince's case) or the "man of god" card in Tebow's.

-Mike | He looked great tonight. I understand he wasn't playing against starters but he is a rookie. I'm impressed. Tarvaris and the starters is another matter... Okung seems to be made of brittle.

The D had 6 sacks tonight, and rushed the QB almost every play. 3 interceptions, and held them to just 2 field goals.
I think the Eagles might have a fighting chance this year. |

I for one am pretty sick of the "quarterback controversy" here in Denver.
The Broncos need a guy who can take care of the ball, put it where it's supposed to be the majority of the time, and someone who manages the offense.
We don't need a spectacle. We need wins via a team effort from both sides of the ball.
I'm impressed with Tebow's spirit and competitive nature. Add some maturity and experience, he could be a starter. But I don't watch football to see a quarterback light up the skies with his reckless abandon and guts all over the field in a vain OJT season. This isn't NASCAR, and I'm afraid alot of Bronco fans are just looking for the next crash and burn instead of thinking about wins.
Thank god the coaches are smarter than the fans.

That's obvious. How can you not see that?
