NFL Week #19 Divisional Weekend Pack/Niner's. Too close to call. I'm hoping Pack contains Gore and Kapernick and can somehow score points on the Niner's D. Pack by a field goal. And Denver, Seattle, New England |
|
Pack, Seattle setting up that rematch but this time in Lambeau and no Fail Mary's Denver and New England. Brady v. Manning is inevitable. |

Better keep in mind that this is a significantly improved Seahawks team from earlier in the season. |
Being a Cal alum with lots of family in Chico I am an Aaron Rodgers fan and root for the Pack when it doesn't affect the 49ers. And he is playing great now with the Pack offense looking back in form despite the team's early struggles this season. For me, this game hinges on how well Justin Smith can play. I think we've seen the last couple weeks exactly how vital he is to the Niners defense. I also think the week off benefits SF. Yes, they are a relatively young team, but they don't sub a lot on defense and the starters looked worn out to finish the year, especially after that New England game where they played 95 snaps. Gore can always use the rest as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see this game go either way but given that I'm a Niners fan and it's a home game I'm calling it as: SF 24 GB 21 |
the texans will have to play the game of their lives (so far) to beat the pats. |

Good luck. |
Broncos over Ravens. Close. |
Broncos/Ravens - Broncos (although this is the first time in my life I'm a Ravens fan for a day). Packers/49'ers - This one is way too close to call, IMO. If I *had* to pick, I'd probably pick the 9'ers. Seahawks/Falcons - Falcons. I think if RG3 were healthy the Redskins would have been facing the Falcons. Texans/Patriots - Patriots. They're playing too well right now. |
I believe A-rod is going to use the draft snub by his childhood team ~ the red and gold ~ as a reason to kick this into an even higher level, if such is possible. Green Bay 28 San Francisco 24 I'll take the Broncos, Seahawks and Patriots in the three other games. |
Ravens over Broncos. Niners over Pack. Texans over Pats. Now for my game... Seattle's corners aren't bad but handling Tony, Roddy and Julio with Harry in the slot and Matt Ryan tossing them the ball will be way too much. This isn't the same Falcons team that's lost in the last 3 playoff appearances. Falcons rise up for the win! Falcons - 31 Seahawks - 19 |

Seahawks - 28 Falcons - 17 Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner are both very good corners. This team is considerably better than most people on the East Coast realize.:p The last time we went up against a big passing team, the Patriots, we won. And our offense has improved considerably since then.:D |

Ravens over Broncos 9ers over Packers Patriots over Texans Seattle over Falcons Atlanta is good this year, but....watching Seattle, they just seem to have a mean streak and a slight Napoleon complex that I don't really see in Atlanta. |

I hope you're right - go Seahawks! |
As if I didn't hate the Patriots (and Boston sports teams in general) enough already. No Houston media outlet would ever be so disrespectful. http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/20...tIL/story.html But anyway Seahawks over Falcons Niners over Packers Broncos over Ravens (probably going to be the closest game of the weekend) I hate to say it and hope I'm wrong, Patriots over Texans |

Maybe another week of practice he'll get back into it. The loss of Clemmons is going to be big. I also wonder about Haushka; they said they were going to be working out kickers today. Haushka's had a fantastic season - hard to improve on 24 of 27, with one block and both misses coming from beyond 50. It'll be interesting to see how this shakes out. |
The hawks signed a veteran kicker today as insurance in case Hauschka can't go |
Broncos > Ravens. Convincingly. |
