Our turnover margin and points against are amongst the best in the league. You can run up yards all you want but if you don't score points it doesn't really mean a damn thing and that's where we've come up big. Shutting down Marshawn Lynch will be tough. Really tough. Ryan is also good at running down the clock. Seattle is a great team but I think the combination of a capitalistic defense and a powerful offense will be too much for Wilson & co.
At least I hope.

So we're well aware of yards vs. points. Wilson has been good at not making many mistakes (more of missed opportunities) as of late. We are a very young team and while the experience in Washington was valuable, this is going to be another level.
I'd have to look but I don't know that Atlanta has gone up against this type of physical defense either. Should be a good game!

Atlanta over Seattle - It'll be a very close game, it might even go to OT, but I think the home team pulls it out.
Denver over Baltimore - sorry, Ray Lewis's farewell tour doesn't end with a ring, but with a dismantling by Peyton Manning & Co.
Green Bay over SF - I feel like GB is getting hot at the right time and will be a serious contender for the Superbowl.
And as much as it pains me to say...
NE over Houston
I would love love love to be proven wrong and see the Texans win, but I just don't see it happening unless the Texans win the turnover battle, Schaub doesn't screw up, and Arian Foster runs like the dickens. That's a lot of "ifs." I have no doubt Arian will do well, but the other two... |

Great game so far. I wonder if the refs will feel like calling pass interference against the Ravens defense in the second half. They seemed most unwilling in the first.
Also, if the Broncos D don't start putting a little pressure on Flacco, Champ Bailey is headed for one of his most regrettable games.

One of the sloppiest games the Broncos played all year. And one of the sloppiest referee'd games I've ever seen. When they showed the replay and even the commentators called it right in favor of Denver, almost every time the refs ruled it in favor of the Ravens. Many times.
Horrible.
Oh well. Refs trump the 12th Man. The Curse of the Bye Week. Call it what you will. It's history now. Congrats to the Ravens. Good luck in the AFC Championship game.

In the end, Manning did the unthinkable. He turned it over. In overtime. In sudden death. In his own territory.
