I had a funny feeling that the Ravens might pull off the upset despite being huge underdogs. My thinking was that Denver had won 11 in a row (I think). Therefore, I thought the law of averages was about to catch up with them. I was kind of surprised that Manning threw that 2nd interception. Since he was out of the pocket, I thought he'd throw it away rather than try to force it in there.
A good friend of mine in Connecticut is a rabid Patriots fan. He was pulling for the Ravens so that the Pats will have home field if they win tomorrow. I don't know though. The Ravens are looking pretty strong right now...

As far as I'm concerned, that's two upsets today. I sure am glad I don't bet on football.

That's if they beat the Texans of course, who have their defence looking a lot better than their last meeting.

Another part makes me want the Seahawks to be six feet under by the end of the first half then having their heads stepped on in the second half. It's time to put the critics to rest. This isn't the same team that appeared in the last three playoffs. Hopefully that's show today on the field.

Dude, seriously?

Dude, seriously? | Not to mention abandoning a running game that was working pretty well in keeping the Niners D off balance. Makes no sense. Woodson subtly indicted Capers this morning in comments to the effect of "We were running the D that was called. We need to get bigger and faster" |

Right now they're the #1 seed in the AFC, and depending of the Houston game will be hosting the AFC Championship game in Foxboro next week. I guess it proves the old adage that sometimes you don't have to be just good to win, sometimes you have to be lucky.

And they've been lucky ever since the tuck rule. BTW didn't the tuck rule work for the defense in yesterday's Ravens Broncos game. :hmm
Have they won a SB since spy gate? Flame away.

Many people hate the Patriots and I get that, but how many other teams have had the winning percentage of New England in the past decade? How long has it been since SF won? |

Rarely do we have a team that is dominant enough that they are clearly better than anybody else. 85 Bears, a couple of those 90s Cowboys teams. |

I don't think that gameplan will work against the 49ers. |
