SF vs. Patriots, and I think it just might be a classic Superbowl.

it is cool to see the niners doing well again.
I was a hard core niner fan back in the late 80s and early 90s. but then again, so was everyone else
I lost a lot of love for them when they let Joe Montana and Jerry Rice go. yesterday I saw more old Rice and Montana jerseys then I have in the past ten years, collectively... I loved it

back in the early 90s my wife was a raiders fan and I was a Niner fan. I had bought his and hers, XJS jaguars (V 12 engines, of course...gas was cheap). Hers was red with tan interior and mine was black with grey interior. We would pick who had to drive to the games based on which team we were going to go see. Whoever's car matched the team had to drive, and stay sober at and after the game

i'm guessing here, but if the Giants beat the Niners, doesn't that up-grade Manning as a possible MVP candidate?!!

i had Brees beating out Rodgers by a hair because of the records breaking. now we have Manning taking a 9-7 team to the NFC Championship game.

If its like the other sports, its supposed to be based on the regular season only.

I thought the MVP award was already voted on, but they wait to announce it.
