I'm reserving my guess until I hear about Pouncy and Smith.

I just look forward to a good game. I'm not in the prediction business, because my prediction isn't worth the time it would take to type it out.

As a Steel City native in the defeated region of Patriotland all I can say is summed up on this link:

I wanted it to be Jets vs Packs, but Steelers vs Packers will be a solid game, too.

So awesome to see two storied professional football franchises match-up in the Super Bowl. Two cities of hard working people who love their football teams like no other. It all just feels so right as a football fan........well all of it except playing in the Jerry Jones Stadium. I vote they move the game to Lambeau Field.

I got time to think this one over. No prediction just yet.

Steelers have me a little worried as they were flat in the first half against the Ravens and flat again tonight in the second half against the Jets. They're going to need to figure that out...

As much as i'd prefer the Packers to win it i get the feeling that Big Ben will pull an agonizing play out of his butt and win it at the wire :/

Steelers steal it

Packers 25
Steelers 27

Summed up beautifully, so I'll just +1 this entire post.

Yeah this has me concerned too. Benji is on a short list of athletes that I simply cannot stand and the thought of him winning a third ring disgusts me. To say that I will be pulling for the Pack is an understatement.

An interesting tidbit about Packer Coach Mike McCarthy-he is from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

Green Bay might win, also Pittsburgh could win.

I am decisively indecisive.

Well, I know for sure the Pats will be watching on the couch

Should be a really good game, and the best part is Jerry Jones will have front row seats in his new palace! HA HA

Mike, have you lost your mind?! I totally disagree with you about playing at Lambeau. Why on earth would you, as a Steeler fan, want to play the SB on their home turf? Another Northern, outdoor stadium (like Soldier Field or something like that) I could see. But the Pack is gonna' be tough enough on a neutral field.

And like I said in the Week 20 thread, if Pittsburgh is to win this game, they're gonna' have to play strong for 60 minutes rather than 30.

I don't really have a horse in this race, but I'd like to see the Pack take it, if only for the tons of respect I have for Aaron Rodgers.

Oh, and I also think it's a damn shame the game's going down in a domed stadium. This matchup BEGS to be played out in the snow.
