Philly is the worst team in the NHL at the moment, record-wise. Strange, but true.

So far, Jagr (40) & Selanne (42) have both had 4-point nights.

The Kings have yet to have a top-6 player get a POINT! Or even Doughty. Yikes.

Crosby looks slow and out of his element right now.

The Habs played the worst game I've ever seen them play against Toronto, by far... only to play one of the best games I've ever seen them play against Florida. Total domination in every aspect including physical.

Gomez & Redden get bought out by their respective teams and immediately find employment with the Sharks and Blues, respectively.

So many strange things occurring in the NHL right now...

Kings are 0-2. They looked like poo against the Blackhawks but played better against Avalanche, contrary to the score, 3-1. Stings just a little. At least it's still early.

And they just not only just lost Brayden Schenn for the next game, but Hartnell is out indefinitely with a foot injury.

Well I showed up at Consol tonight for a Pens game, but the team didn't. That was incredibly ugly. Seems Toronto's strategy of "don't do anything until they give us a wide open goal" worked fantastic. Team looked like they didn't even want to be there.

Sucks about Hartnell. Hope he's not out too long. I hate his guts but I'd love him to death if he was on my team. Don't like to see a team lose their heart and soul player.

Tonight was the first Rangers game of the season that I got to watch, and it was a good one!

In typical fashion, they blow a lead and then pull it out in the very end. I was impressed with a lot of guys, including Pyatt, Gaborik and Stepan, and I thought that Nash of course stood out.

That being said, Tuukka Rask was insane tonight. A very impressive performance.

I have both Rask and Lundy in my fantasy league. Was really hoping for a 0-0 game heading into a shootout

Same here. I'm a die hard Rangers fan, and this was a tough game to watch. Happy for the win.

I hate that Hartnell is hurt. I only wish he had found some finesse and soft hands while he was wearing blue and gold.

I think it could go either way. I don't necessarily think he should be suspended, but with the rules in place and the hits they've suspended players for in the past, I would not be surprised nor outraged if he's suspended.
Laz, I never said he didn't leave his skates. Although I guess I was insinuating that it just had to be a Flyer to be the first to get the suspension. Schenn certainly hasn't been the first this season to have a suspendable hit. Of course one of those other hits was his brother Luke!

If Hartnell's foot is broke, figure he's gone for 4-6 weeks.

Lupul also injured. Probably out for weeks.

Holmgren was interviewed between periods tonight's game and confirmed they're looking at 4 - 8 weeks. Flyers have signed Mike Knuble, which seems like a good move.

New hat showed up this morning. I get a new one every year. I think that's why we lost the first three. I didn't have my hat yet. But now I just put it on and flyers just fought though a 5 on 3 and 4 on 5. I guess I should have overnighted it so it got here sooner. Lol. Sorry.

That was one awesome 5 minute major penalty kill with some 5 on 3 thrown in to make it even more impressive! Go Flyers!
