Nine to fivers with tattoos?

Sign in to disble this ad
Any nine to fivers out there got extensive ink? I don't mean a tasmanian devil on your arm that you got in college. I mean something that people in your place of business can clearly see. Maybe like some forearm work. If you have some visible work and you're a suit and tie guy (or girl) I would love to hear about what you do, your experiences with getting jobs while having visible art, have you been discriminated against, do you fear having to look for another job with visible ink, do you feel secure with visible ink in your workplace...etc. etc. etc.

I have a good bit of art work but none of it is visible when I'm dressed. I'm a nine to fiver and I'm thinking of getting a little more visible with my art but I'm a little apprehensive though my girlfriend told me about the Exec. VP at her last job-she said that he had full sleeves. It was at Time Warner in NYC.

I am teaching from 7am - 2pm and I have some exstensive tattoos. With it being warmer I have been in short sleeves lately and the students have seen just a little thats below the sleeve line and they continually ask to see them but I told them this is not the place.

just the edges of mine are visible. nobody ever says anything to me about it, then again I work at a Harley dealership so its pretty common. I worked at toys r us for a while too while having tattoos, it was mostly older people that would make a comment about it, i think tattoos are becoming more common than a cold virus.
