Ugh...

So I have psoriasis, and once in a while it flares up. Nizoral, a used to be only prescription shampoo has been out of stock recently, like, everywhere.

Because of this, online prices have shot up dramatically....

The active ingredient is ketakonazol , think I spelled it right, and those other shampoos with coal/tar or salic acid dont do the trick, in fact those can often make the symptom worse!

I guess I'm just ranting...but man..now I need to get the stuff off ebay....

I have the same thing. I get mine through a prescription. I get that, and the cream for a 10 buck copayment through insurance.

Haven't noticed the prices going up around here, but I haven't bought any shampoo in a month or so.

As far as I know it should still be available as a prescription also - so depending on your health insurance situation that may be cheaper.

Yeah, but if you don't have insurance you'll have to pay full price for it and now you're back to square one. If you do have insurance see if you can get a doc buddy to write you a script. I do that all the rime when I can't be bothered to make an appt to see the doc
