I couldn't help but notice how many TB'ers don't put an age in their profile...
Too young? Too old? What's the deal?
I cannot be alone in this observation, I guess this is kind of a rant thread of sorts...
Am I alone on this?
Let me know...
Oh and just so you don't have to waste time on profile, I'm 23 years old... Soon to be 24 oh my...

Edit: 15.

I think it's just plain ignorance and lazyness. The same goes for the location. What's the point of some EU folks giving info about the best places to buy gear to US TBer for example. The voltage is a bit different and usually the shipping and taxes make it expensive. Or an US TBer giving the same advice to, well, anyone not living in US. Not too many companies ship internationally.
If the personal security is so important then simply the year of birth (1.1.19XX) and the country/state would be super, IMHO.
I too have a problem with only the "male" in the personal profile and if it's a new member I usually point it out to them too .
The teens/young folks can be spotted pretty quickly by the spelling and the general attitude , but it would be nice to know the other persons age when giving/recieving advice.
Regards
Sam |

I don't care about whether or not anybody posts their age; but I do find it interesting to see what gear they have, what they're GAS'ing for, who their influences are/were, etc.
Maybe a lot of folks simply don't know how to fill out their profile.

Seriously. I'll cut an ESL some slack on the language, but if you're a native speaker, you better make sense or I'm not even going to try to understand your incoherent, ungrammatical posts.
Age? Who cares? It's none of your business and it doesn't matter. Content matters. Your data's good or it's not.
