Dear CraigLook users,

Craiglook.com has been shut down by demand of Craigslist.org

I have also complied with their request and have removed all RSS feeds and links to craigslist.org from the website.

I am extremely grateful to you all who kept the site running with your great ideas and feedback. I will try my best in reaching to Craigslist to see if there is a way for Craiglook to work out legal claims that they have pointed out.
I love using craiglook and now its being shut downed by craigslist..

I used that all the time. I would use it to price things I was selling or to check the going price for stuff I was buying.

This happens every so often when someone makes one of these tools to search CL. Never fear, you can still search all of craigslist if you put "site:" at the beginning of your search. Like this....site:craigslist.org bass guitar, or narrow it down to a city like this....site:seattle.craigslist.org bass guitar

If this concept is new to you, here are some more tips: How to search craigslist multiple cities and categories.

Yep. You could even go as little as "bass guitar craigslist" in a google search and come up with a billion hits. Be as vague or as specific as you desire. It's how my buddy Nick S. found an NS upright on the other side of the country for 600 buxx.

Never heard of craiglook, but any time site names start edging too close to major sites you can expect a reaction.
