No New Thread button, etc

I started using Opera today. On Talk Bass, I don't have a New Thread button, no buttons to the left of any threads, no option to view newest thread. Nothing. What can I change? I tried to post this using Opera but couldn't but FF has the options.

I wish a lot of people here didn't have New Thread buttons.

Actually, I just uninstalled and reinstalled Opera yesterday, in an attempt to solve a slow-browsing problem, and I can confirm that there are no buttons for me either--with a brand-new install. Also the horizontal blue bar that normally contains those buttons is all chopped up and bunched up on the left side.

I've never liked Opera. It's always kind of seemed hodge-podge to me.

I don't know what it is, but I can tell you I'm going to avoid it.

Yeah I'm getting the same issue with the menu bar on the page but only in windows.

The only thing I can do is open a thread and then click on View First Unread. I also can't right click a bookmark and open in a new tab. Have to hit Shift then click it. I'm working on Opera though.

I used Opera up until a month or so ago, and had no issues at all. Which version are y'all using?

I have the same problem when browsing TB on my netbook.

(but that's running firefox (on a Linux based OS), no issues with Firefox on any other machine).

Quick thought - be sure that all the Java functions are on...tools > quick preferences

Noscript will make an awful lot of websites ugly/unusable too.

Anyone figure this out yet? I'm revisiting it because FF seems to be really crawling. Opera, to me, it a lot faster.
