here in Michigan we've been hit with storms in the evening ..

We actually had a storm blow through sunday night with 60 - 70mph winds.. and an uncomfirmed tornado .. people say they saw it .. and it hit about 1/2 mile from my house ...

it uprooted 50 year old trees all over the place,

been without power since sunday evening, setup the generator yesterday morning so at least I got fridge, tv, ac, internet

been through 10 gallons of gas over a 24 hour period though!

Wow that really sucks. Glad you were at least able to get a generator to run the really important stuff. No hot water I guess. When do they expect to have power back on?

OK, tell us this....how many times did you reach for the light switch in your house, and flick it a couple times before you remembered the power was out. That seems to happen to me quite a bit when our power goes out.

The remains of the storm just went over Quebec. There are fence pieces and tree branches everywhere.

A blast of wind put the bus on two wheels for a few seconds on the ride back home. Scary stuff.
