I can't remember the 1st year we did the Norad Tracks Santa thing, but it's been quite a while now.
I'm doing it now as a matter of fact and calling out updates to my 3 year old.

Basically all they do now is track Santa.

It all started getting a bit more complicated in the late 70s and early 80s, then transformed the world in the 90s.
So it's been around a little bit more than your humble 16 years.
This Santa tracker thing came on the news today, such a good idea, considering it all sprang from a wrongly dialled phone number.

I'm not religious at all and in general I don't like society but I also don't like the stress people get from the holidays but when I get to see everyone so happy as a result of all that hard work it makes me feel good. I appreciate what religion does for other people. I appreciate the hard work everyone puts forth for other people. I appreciate individuals but not society as a whole. And this is why I was thankful on Thanksgiving and continue to be thankful for.
