He gets in time real quick once he gets the groove again. However, I don't think perfect timing comes till later in life anyways myself. Also I'd like to see him in a real band. Playing with a CD track is near damn impossible to get everything just right. But with a live band you can practice the nuances and stuff over and over again.
But pretty good for four years old. Give him a few years and he'll learn dynamics and nuances and he'll be kicking it with the big boys. |

Right now he seems like that funk drummer everyone knows that plays completely instinctually and kills it in the groove, but doesn't have proper training. Then again, he is 6.

Kids got waaaaay more skills and better technique than I'll dream to have in five years of hard practicing. I'd love to see him hit some funk grooves and lay some deep pockets down though. |

I'd say for someone his age and with that much talent that simpler is better. I'd wager he wouldn't get as confused after his fills with less cymbals as well.
Also seems like he may get into bad habits and hurt his wrists after a while with the way he plays. Either way, he'll be a monster when he grows up. Way ahead of the curve in terms of ability to perceive music and apply it. |

| I saw in the description for one of his videos (think it was an a7x cover) that all of his gear is from sponsors so i guess its just kinda if he can have it he might aswell have it Quote: |

However, since I'm now mostly retired from drumming and new to bass (epi allen woody sig) I intend to give it all the love & passion I ever gave drums. |

He'll be great drummer for sure, there are a lot of amazingly talented young muso's out there now but 4 years old? Fair play he's got it in the genetic code.
