This is the keyboardist from the band Leftover Salmon. I didn't realize that keyboard players had that much trouble with the ladies.

I had to laugh at one of the reader comments at the bottom, "He must have slipped her a Mickey, and then a McKay! "

If he really did this, he's a complete loser and deserves to be kicked in the junk by a horse. If it turns out that the woman just got too drunk to realize that she was actually banging the keyboardist and not the bassist, then she's a c***.

If it turns out he slipped her a mickey, he should have his 'nads f***g ripped out. It' really hits home with me. Long story time - sorry in advance -
Mrs Relic tells me a story about she, her sister and a few friends when they had gone to see another friend's band in North Jersey one time a few years back.
They were sitting at the bar watching the band, pretty much minding their own business. She's the designated driver so is only drinking a coke. Of course a gaggle of single gals sitting in a club are instant guy magnets, so they end up getting hit on relentlessly by these two "guido-types" as she describes them. The one guy apparently took a special liking to her and would not leave her alone even though she kept ignoring him. All the gals then get up to go to the bathroom together pretty much to just get away from these guys.
They come back, guys are gone to the other side of the club but looking over. She sits and drinks her coke, after a while she says that she starts to feel weird - really out of it, ears ringing, room spinning. She gets up to go to the bathroom again, telling her sis she'll be right back. Goes in there & proceeds to vomit. Her next memory after that is with her sis and the male BOUNCER standing by her in the ladies room getting her to throw up even more.
Apparently what had happened was that after she went to the ladies room the first time, she staggered out the front door of the club heading right for a busy street. The bouncer jokingly asked her where she was going without her coat and she muttered something incomprehensible and walked out. She has no memory of that at all, just what her sis and the bouncer told her. Had it not been for the bouncer having enough presence of mind to think that something's not right, and going out after her in a few mins she may very well have ended up plastered to the pavement on Rt1 or raped.
Naturally, they never found out who did it, the two guys of course vanished. To this day she doesn't know what she was slipped but whatever it was worked quick and strong.
Sorry for the long story but the lesson learned here is that ladies need to be careful, be watchful, never leave a drink unattended and ALWAYS have someone looking out for you. Use a buddy system if need be. Sad that you have to do that but....

I agree with your sentiment, Relic. I nearly put a guy into the hospital a few years ago when I saw him dropping a dose into my friend's drink. I calmly escorted him out the door and proceeded to beat him until his nose was broken and he was semi-unconscious and then walked back into the bar before my friend was back fro the ladies room. I never saw that guy at that bar again.

To be fair, I've also seen women use this as a weapon after getting themselves drunk and sleeping with someone they wish they hadn't. I think these women need to wear some sort of designation tho warn guys that they do this.

Oh absolutely true!
We just had a recent case similar to that here in Jersey. (sans the mickeys)
Cliff notes version - gal gets smashing drunk at club, meets a group of off-duty cops. She ends up sleeping with 5 of them in one night. Next day after she sobers up, she cries rape but even her friends who were they claim she did what she did willingly and was in no way forced by the officers. Toxicology tests showed nothing unusual in her system.
Had her friends not been there, I suspect that the case would have gone in a far different direction...
who's to blame, the drunken gal, or the 5 drunken guys who took advantage of the invitation? I dunno. tough one. But apparently the judge took it and threw it out..

This keyboard player kind of looks like the keyboard player from my old band. Pretty sure he's gay though.

Eagle County? A famous, controversial sexual assault case took place there a few years ago...

I said "pretty sure" for that exact reason. I'm have no empirical evidence, or personal experiences to confirm what are just suspicions at this point. Just wanted to say that for clarification purposes.

Other than that, I'm pretty sure he knows that I'm not gay. Note the "pretty sure" there.

Was this reported the next morning? If so, the police may have taken a blood test to look for drugs.

The report states that he was just arrested today, so it seems to me that the woman did not report it immediately. suspicious on her part, methinks.
