NTLDR is missing

Sign in to disble this ad
My main computer isnt starting up, and it is giving me this error message.

Found a website where it gives you a program to put on a floppy to rectify the problem, reckon this is safe?

http://ntldrismissing.com/

Is anything I could have done the cause of this? I didnt do anything different, and shut down as usual the last time

Boot up into recovery mode (not safe mode) and run a chkdsk /f

If you don't know how, google it.
