+1. A crepe chef in Montreal uses this stuff on his desert crepes, and they are to die for. My wife and I regularly make trips to Montreal just to give this guy our money.

Nutella fiends

Hah! I mentioned Nutella to my wife a few weeks ago and she looked at me like I was crazy. She had NEVER even heard of it.

Fast forward to about three days ago, when I came home from work to find my wife and three year old daughter with their dirty little fingers crammed in a jar of the stuff.

I am afraid of what would happen if I accidentally brought home some Fluffanutter.

What's with all the drink & food threads lately?

Should TB get another subforum for discussion on nutrition.
(Come to think of it, ... best nutrition for a bassist is an important issue to discus.)

I like Nutella by the way.
With a nice slice of cheese, young gouda.
Delicious.

Hahaha! I turned my kid's friend on to this stuff. She'd never heard of it & next thing you know she's getting the largest jars possible & eating it with a spoon. It's great stuff (but a li'l too sweet for me sometimes).

I had some recently for the first time in years. I don't want to wait that long ever again.

Exactly. I grew up on that stuff and I've stayed very slender. No bad talk about Nutella concerning that. Just a delicious spread to have on bread for breakfast.

That's it, I need to pick up some of this tonight and try it. First my co-workers start raving about it, then my wife, now TalkBass.

There's a breakfast place around here that makes a real mean peanut butter/nutella panini. Good stuff.

You're from Antwerp and you never had Nutella (or other choco) with cheese on your sandwich?

Try it.

When in highschool my mother often made my sandwiches with salami, mustard and pear/apple/"dadel?" syrup (Luikse siroop, sirope de Liège).

Now that is what my classmates called 'moordend'.

It's powers grow mightily when combined with peanut butter.
