So, I'm taking a vacation to NYC from Bahhh-ston for a week. The main thing I want to do is check out Roger Sadowsky's shop, but that's like half a day's worth of fun and adventure. I definitely plan on checking out as many jazz clubs as I can, but what else is going on in NYC between those dates that I should check out? I plan on staying in hostels to keep the cost down, any recommendations on places to seek out and/or avoid?
Recommendations on places to eat, tourist traps to see, etc, would all be appreciated too!
