Observation on the economy and those of us who buy/sell in GFS

I really see a glut of basses and fewer buyers, especially in the GFS below. The economy and mortgage crisis is hitting everyone hard. A guy can hardly sell a bass at a fair price. If you want a bass, now is the time to buy in the GFS. There are lots of basses and guys are willing to bargin.

We were talking about this the other day. You can get 30-40% more on Ebay right now if you are willing to deal with Ebay.

I found Craigslist is better now for resale as well.

It was also mentioned these forums cycle with pricing. It's just a down time.

I've been a member since 2004 and have seen the cycle every year. It's not necessarily the economy but the Classifieds have their peaks and lows.

About this time last year is when I personally scored a bunch of great deals in the Gear for Sale.

I have noticed this a little bit. I think the high ticket items are staying up there, but the middle of the road gear is going at great prices. I know I got a couple good deals.
