| I'm an anarchist punk rocker at heart, but IME protesting in america does no good. In other countries it seems to have an effect and politicians listen to the people. Here the cops just show up and people get tired after a while and go home. What did all the war protesters accomplish in the 8 years Bush was in office? NOTHING! The government here does whatever they want, they don't care what people think, do, write, or say.
While it's a noble effort, it's useless. Go home.
