So a friend of mine that I used to work with text messaged me last week, saying she has a friend I might be interested in. I ignored the text, as the blind date concept is creepy to me, and I'm comfortable where I am now, and having a boatload of fun! Anywho, the next day, this girl that my friend suggested to me e-mails me via MySpace. The e-mail sounded cool. She's a professor where I went to grad school, is moderately attractive, has a huge rack, and shares a lot of interests with me. So, I figured what the F. I wrote her back, we exchanged a few e-mails, hit it off, and decided to get together for drinks last night. I expected nothing more than drinks.
Well, we went had drinks, got along really well, and ended up back at her house (on her suggestion). We do the do. She was pretty good, with a very nice mix of freaky thrown in. No complaints here. I woke up when her alarm went off, we chatted, and I split. We both had work.
I get a text message from her before saying, thanks for the fun night, I need to be honest though, I'm really not attracted to you. please don't be mad, etc....
MAD??? I was thrilled. I'm planning on moving away. She knew this. I got a fun night of over-drinking and over-sexing in, with no strings to speak of. I was fine with her text. I just found it incredibly odd that she told me this after we churned butter, ya know?
