Lately it's been ever increasing, or to me ever more noticeable, that there are a lot of threads that don't belong here. Threads keep popping up about music related items and lately some bass threads. Now are those guys stupid or do people just not understand the purpose of subdivisions in forums? So to all the people thinking, "Yeah, this goes in OT", think again;

1. Is the topic of the thread in ANY way related to music?

If the answer to that simple question is "yes" it doesn't belong here! Now someone may argue that for example the Justin Bieber thread is music related. Wrong. The topic is about that Justin Bieber doesn't know what German is. Topic: German. Yes Justin Bieber is a musician, but he could be anything. His musicianship isn't discussed (or music or whatever) but his lack of knowledge. If the thread was titled "Justin Bieber's new album is awesome" it would go into Recordings. Hard? No. So do it right and give the mods an easier job.

NOW GET OFF MY LAWN.

If somebody doesn't read the rules or descriptions of the forums they post in, I doubt they're going to read this thread.

you could always be the super cool dood who reports all the threads. That'll learn'em. The Mods need more thread vigilantes in their midst.

Dude, srsly, FWIW, I will only play a p bass. srsly like, bro, why even ask me that? j bass is for punk loser wannabe's. You can't get that Jaco tone with a j bass.

Besides, I play metal, not jazz. Get it together

but remember, this is only IMO and IME. YMMV.
