Sure it might offend SOME people, but you gotta think about what the general public will like. Would enough of your fans/possible fans take offense that you would want to change your band name?

I wouldn't worry about it, most people don't take offense to band names anyway and those who do seriously need to lighten up. After all its not like the band name is taking a shot at Dyslexic people.

I dunno if it's offensive but it doesn't sound like the name of a funk band.

Always think it helps when band names give an accurate idea of what a band might sound like.

if someone is offended by that, they will be offended by anything (and there's plenty of those folks these days )

you should call your first album DAM - Mothers Against Dyslexia

My bands name is the C*** Juice Junkies, and my other one is Hiney Fisting Passion. Several good bands around my home town included Eat my ****, Facet D***, etc. I even have HFP tattooed to the inside of my lip.

It's pretty common these days using vulgar language in a band name. Two that come to mind are F*** The Facts and F*** I'm Dead.

One of the bands I'm working on is called "Musically Inclined to Impregnate Your Daughter". I think an offensive band name is nothing for you to worry about.

We were considering creating a band called "Grand Mal" and titiling the first CD "Seize the Day"

I've always thought "Dick Delicious and the Tasty Testicles" would make a catchy band name.

I was offended when I heard a band called "Free Beer" and was offended when there was no free of charge beer at the bar they were playing at as per their posters and myspace.
