The official 2008 Tax Return Wishlist thread!

If this is a repost...I don't care

After I pay some bills, I'm getting:

1) a SPEC clutch/flywheel setup for my 240SX (plus a urethane transmission mount, a stainless steel clutch line, and two new 245/45-16 tires to take advantage of the clutch's extra gripping power)
2) a PS3 with a couple games
3) nothing bass related

So what are you going to do with your tax return?

Sent mine in three weeks ago, which means my refund money should be in my hands before the end of February.

I'm getting a fretless version of my Stambaugh.

Don't know if we're getting a return (probably not) but we'll be using our rebate and any return to pay off the wife's car early.

My goal is always to have no tax return money back, maybe even owe a little.

I don't give the government a year-long interest-free loan. My accountant laughs about how good I am at getting it close to zero every year.

The wife and I will hopefully be using it to cover those unforseen costs that come with moving. And any extra will go to a 1080p at the new casa.

Anyone want to buy a house in Corsicana

I'm right between. If I lower my number I owe, if I leave it the way it is I get a return. I opted for this way.

All my return goes in the bank to supplement september, because that's when lifeguards ends and school starts. That month I essentially work for a month with no check until October.

What's left usually goes toward tickets to Japan so we can visit my in-laws.

1) Berg HS210(s)
2) Rebuild bass out of the USACG neck I still have.
3) Replace Skyline 55-01D, w/ Metro UV-70 or MV5, maybe a Fender Am Dlx Jazz-5
4) Replace Ashdown RPM-1, w/ an as yet, undecided hybrid tube head...

But, will I actually DO any of this? Maybe one of the four. Just looking at it, sure seems like alot.

I should have mine direct deposited tomorrow morning. Once that is verified I will finish paying off the following :

New MTD 535
New Berg AE410
New Eden WT550
Property taxes

The extra will be used for misc stuff like a gift for my wife, maybe a video game for my son, etc...

Hmm...

1. A couple of cases of ammo so I can actually afford to shoot the matches I participate in.
2. A new washer and dryer.
3. Some bass hardware to finish up my BCR.
4. Bank the rest.
5. Oops, I lied, I also want some new boots as well!

1) Pay off CC Debt (Luckily I don't have too much of that)
2) Then I'll use some to get an Audere Pre and some Nord Big Singles for my 44-01
3) Save the rest for vacation
