Crocs.

Your thoughts.

Yes, I mean those goofy foam shoes.

I agree. Awful.

But I haven't been able to take off my pair of Bistros. So comfy.

I can see the merits of them for nurses, but for everyday wear, I'm not a fan.

Wouldn't think you'd want all those holes if you were dealing with sick people and their bodily excretions all day. Think I'd go with something waterproof.

My gf got a pair of those for her part-time cleaning gig, she said they are quite comfy. I understand they have multiple models, some without holes and lined for warmth, and even models that actually look like shoes! I'm sure the holes make wearing those nicer, though.

Is this the companion piece to the "I hate crocs" thread from a half a year ago, where the macho guys said don't sacrifice comfort for fashion, and others came to their senses that these things were reserved for grandmothers to wear with socks and housedresses?

I think it must be. And I think crocs are lame.
I Hate Crocs!!!!

So no, this cannot be an offical crocs thread.

Lame List. My wife tried to get a pair, and I told her no way she wears those blasted things out in public when I am with her.

Don't give me the comfortable reasoning either to excuse away how foolish they look. There are plenty of comfortable shoes out there that don't look like those goofy things.

I don't even get the comfortable part.... I was walking around in Fremantle with my wife and daughter- we went in to try some on my daughter. I tried on a pair and thought they were incredibly UNcomfortable.

Give me a pair of flip-flops or my go to Adidas adilette's anyday

100% lame. I have a pair of the flip-flops, though, that I use as shower shoes because dorm showers are unspeakably sketchy.
