In truth I don't drink milk as I have a pretty gnarly allergy to it ( not the get hives n die kind the "Holy crap I can't breath through my nose" kind ) When I was still drinking it I had made the change to 2% .. and couldn't get the taste of 1% out of my mouth.

Really, the acid in animal protein draws calcium from your bones and weakens them, while only providing a small amount of calcium back.
fun fact, statistics show that countries with the lowest consumption of dairy products also have the lowest fracture incidence in their population.

Milked that morning and cooled for a few hours. Skim the cream off to make butter and cheese. OMG delicious; I miss it a lot. |

I presume you are talking about the uric acid build up that can occur if you consume too much protein. If you really want to get into it, the human body isn't really designed to consume milks after it's first few years .
The effects are minimal and only really if you are overconsuming, what about the oestrogenic effects of eating soy products
As for the "fun fact", you'd also be missing out a host of other contributing factors in why different populations of people are made differently and live their lives differently.

The only time I use milk is in my cereal and when cooking.

As for the "fun fact", you'd also be missing out a host of other contributing factors in why different populations of people are made differently and live their lives differently. | No I'm not referring to uric acid, that would be an issue in red meat and "exotic" meats causing a buildup of uric acid(gout), not calcium depletion. I think that milk might be lactic acid, but please, don't quote me on that, but its not uric acid.
As far as over consumption, most Americans ( and many other countries as well) do over consume dairy through milk, cheese, and butter. we don't even realize it, most of the food intake is processed.
*and for the record, I only use soy milk in coffee. : )
You also have rice, almond and many other "milk" options to choose from.
I'm not really sure of the purpose of your last point, the way they live their lives has nothing do do with their intake of dairy and the genetic differences are extremely minimal.

About the only thing I like milk for these days is a P and J sandwich. Must have ICE cold milk with it. Comfort food. I don't argue with it, I just feed the need. I also like it in my oatmeal. That's pretty much it. |

| | | | Cookies aren't the same without milk, though I have been know to eat cookies with orange juice if there isn't any milk in the fridge.
Skim only though. Been drinking it for years though in truth I don't drink it all that much any more. A half gallon lasts for several days in my house.
I am addicted to cheese though.

I agree about milk having to be ice cold. When it starts creeping up the side of the glass/cup, I'm done drinking it. Go cold, or go home.

I am addicted to cheese though. | I've done the OJ and cookies too, quite tasty! especially sugar cookies. I used to be kinda OJ obsessed, I'd drink a gallon in a day and a half, my mom was never too happy with that habit, OJ ain't cheap!
Soy, especially the vanilla kind can be awesome with cookies!
I'm with you on the cheese, I can't even force myself to stop. mmmm 1000 day Gouda....mmmm.
Damn! Now I want some cheese
