The Official "I Love TalkBass" Thread

Sign in to disble this ad
No matter how much I get annoyed by people trying to mod the forums on their own, or by the frequently occational musical elitist, I still come back to this place everyday and learn something entirly new and different. TB probably has the best online community compaired to any other open forum on the internet and its members consist of a calloboration of bassists from all over the musical spectrum with as little as 1 day of experience to an entire life time, who, for the most part, are all awesome.

I would not know nearly 1/2 of what i know about fuzz pedals and impedance ratings or which bass is best for metal or whether or not I should pick a P or J without this site.

So fellow bass enthusiests, I ask you this, do you love TB?

Exactly. TB has taught me pretty much everything I know, other than basics.

I bought a shirt, too.

I get all my pop-culture news from the off-topic forum. I wouldn't know what was going on in the world of celebrity without it.

I love TB.

Word up to Talkbass, man. Looking back on it, before I joined TB, compared to what I know now, I knew jack ****. Not to say that I'm a bass genius or anything, but before joining, I didn't know who Jaco was, I hardly knew anything about EQ, thought the only real difference between flats and rounds was one was smooth and the other not smooth... the list goes on and on. I love this place. Whether I post or not, I'm on it every freakin' day. I'd be lost without TB. Hit me with a number.

My favorite site EVAR. Love (almost) every person on here. Greatest community I've ever been a part of.
