I could do without the music, but cheer and goodwill? That's more or less a year-round thing for me, despite everything that we as a species do to the contrary.

I hate the overplaying of Christmas music in every store and every TV commercial, but I generally try to feel jovial and all that.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra helps a lot

I'm in online retail. I've come to dread this part of the year.

I enjoy somethings about the holidays.

remember, it's supposed to be about giving. sometimes all it takes is giving someone a hug, a smile, doing something nice for someone.

I'm 21, so this means no more kid gifts. Just practical things, like rear floor mats for my subaru and some other random stuff.

When you grow up, the definition of 'fun gifts' changes...but you don't have to stop getting them.

I always have the Christmas spirit. Why? Because my girl and I try to do a bunch of fun holiday stuff. And we have a great time doing it. We have our own 'traditions' that are based on us spending time together and having a good time.

Oh and the other is that we have a tradition...a kiss for every christmas tree we see... it leads to lots of making out and um...other stuff.

That is true. Of course, My idea of a fun gift now is a coffee press, some rear floor mats and some of the Redwall books I don't have. There is some other things, but I forgot them. I also seem to think I got my girlfriend something, but I already did, and yet I still think I did.

Im only 16 and I dont feel it too much.. Im excited for school to be over, and for presents, and food.

And bacon on Christmas morning.. Thats really it.

When you know what presents youre getting, money, etc., it loses most of its awesomeness.

Hey Crawford, not to go off topic, but I read you were from East Liverpool and was wondering, are you familia with the Hubbard/Niles/Boardman/West Middlesex/New Castle area?? I'm from West Middlesex which is about 2 feet from Hubbard and New Castle lol. Plus I have family in Hubbard and Youngstown.

I usually don't feel it, but I am really excited for it this year. Part of it might be my girlfriend rubbing off on me.
