Seeing as we've had NHL, NBA, NFL, cricket and now MLB threads, it's time for all the footy fans of OT to congregate. I'm kinda odd in that I'm a footballing polyginist: I latched on to Newcastle as a 3-year-old in Derby, went week-in-week-out to Shrewsbury Town FC from age 4 to 11 and have spent the last 4 years ever present at FC Zürich...
This year, the Toon are looking steady in mid table (great result on Tuesday), Shrews are 1 point off the automatics and Züri are a point off the lead and still to play the leaders (Basel). Could be a very, very, good season...
