Well, since my wrist is currently broken in two places, I've found myself not being able to do much. No skiing, no bass playing... So I have some extra downtime right now. So much so that I've seriously considered...
Playing WoW.
I never thought I could be that kind of person, but my neighbors rave about it. Should I take the plunge, or is this going to signify the end of my social life as I know it?

2)If you become a no-life (wow-life) geek,bye bye social life.
I play wow and have a social life.
3)If you start, never forget that its just a game, don't go crazy for one purple colored shirt.

2. Have some freaking discipline, if you let it take over your life, it's your fault, not the games.

I used to play WoW, it's a lot of fun but I can't go back because it really did destroy my life...I got fat(er), boring, and wasn't playing bass at all.
I'd recommend Mass Effect as a less addictive alternative (non online) but it will take you a long time to fully beat and has tons of replay value. |

Seriously. Weak hand just goes up and down to control volume.

Playing WoW.

Sure, people spend far more time doing it than they should, but they also do that with other video games and many other hobbies.
It's not difficult to play and enjoy it while doing other things, and you're the only one who can determine whether or not you spend too much time on it. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
