But I really like the new Guns and Roses song "Better" I've heard nothing but bad things about the new album and I know that its not the "real" G-N-R. but that particular song moves me, like when I was younger........Anyone else have similar feelings about this or other songs?
Flame on!

My whole band was ripping on me last week for liking the Bare Naked Ladies (well 3 of their albums, some of them are just pop crap)...does that count?

I'm not happy with the endless guitar wanking on the new G&R. Way too over the top. At least Slash knew when to shut up. Just my opinion.

seriously... you like "better"?

the verses and bridge are ok, but that song has one of the worts choruses i have ever heard.

to me, it honestly sounds like when they were recording he just wrote in on the spot.. there is no melody no lyrics and a horrible vocal style

like i said...in the chorus,

the verse is sorta interesting.

but, by all means...you're cool to like whatever you want... but i seriously giggle when i hear that chorus.

Interesting enough the verse is what hooked me in enough that the chorus grew on me.

He uses a lot of whammy pedal and that kill switch thingy, kind of like he has something to prove, Slash leaves some big shoes to fill.

Does anybody know of a musical version of "Get Off My Lawn?"

If not, someone here needs to write it....probably would make a good blues number.

You think there's endless guitar wanking on the new GNR album? Try listening to any Aerosmith album...

Personally I love the New Guns N Roses. Yeah, they are not the old Guns N Roses but they are still good. People just can't accept change.

Coincidentally, my favourite song from the album is Better

The first 5 or 6 tracks don't do it for me, but the rest of the album is pretty good IMHO.

Really good album IMHO. Perhaps not worth the decades or waiting or millions of dollars but I've certainly gotten more than my money's worth for the $10 I paid for mine.

Personal favorite song is "Sorry." Verse sounds like something Outkast would've done and the chorus sounds like an old school Sabbath riff only with on key vocals.

I definitely recommend the album to anyone who liked the direction that Axl took during the Illusions. Breakdown, Estranged, Yesterdays, Garden of Eden, November Rain, etc.

I LOVED the new GnR album. Buckethead's guitar just made GnR more "rock" than ever.
