I'm working as an RA for Berklee college of music. and i'm trying to find a theme for the building i work in. there are 7 diffrent sections of the building. we need a theme that connects all 7 but each can have their own personality.

currently we've picked the 7 wonders of the world. but i hate that, so no i'm trying to find a new one.

I suggested a Frat theme. each floor is a diffrent frat, but all the floors are connected in that fact that its a frat style theme on each floor. unfortunately we can't use it because the housing department is afraid of the kids taking it the wrong way and using it as an excuse to be crazy, drink, and haze new students.

any one have a suggestion?

personally i dont think a frat theme would have been well received at berklee.

what works in 7's? prog rock? eastern european folk music? gambling (lucky 7 type idea)?

good luck with that.

With regard to the hazing, some of those 1st semester kids could use a good smackdown. :P

And seriously, you think that not having a frat theme is going to stop kids in the dorms from drinking? Take it from someone who lived in 150 for 2 years (worst . . . time . . . ever). Hell, I always had a bottle of brandy on my hutch in sight of the door. :P
