drop C tuneing for a bass ? i know that when guitars drop to C they also detune all their other strings to C G C F A D... for the bass would it do the same just differing on the number of stings> so CGCF for 4 string and CGCFA for 5 string? tahnks for the help

One of my 4-bangers is tuned DGCF

If I was going to "drop" my 5er - it would be ADGCF

CGCF for 4 string is drop c. I'm not sure about Drop C for 5 strings. Iknow theres a drop A which = AEADG

There could be GDGCF for 5 string as well.
