With all the rule violations around here?
There used to be a rule that basically stated " no Pict-no bass(or amp) Yet every thread I open up theres someone bragging about this or that, but wont post pictures. ***??? It's even happening more and more in the for sale sections now too. And speaking of for sale, Isn't it against the rules to post items for sale in your sig?? I mean come on? It doesn't cost that much to become a member if you want to sell your gear.
Am I the only one around here that feels this way?

I don't think anyone really doesn't believe someone has something because they don't have the capacity or knowledge to post pictures. It was never a real, or enforced, rule. AFAIK, it's only allowed to post links to instruments for sale if you're a supporting member. If not, that's against forum rules. |

There is no rule that says you have to post pictures in your for sale threads. Do I think it's a good idea to? Well, duh...yeah, but it's not a rule.
As far as links to for sale items in sigs...that is reserved for supporting members only. If you see a non-supporting member with a for sale ad in their sig, report them and we'll take care of it.

I understand it's not a rule for the classifieds, but it should be common sense. Who's going to shell out money for something sight unseen?

But doesn't it seem kinda strange when someone wants to join a club but just cant figure out how to post a picture of their gear? It aint that hard realy.

Now, I suppose I could cover the first one by posting a pic of myself eating a porkroll and cheese sandwich, standing on one of the Boardwalks down the shore, but some people might still have their doubts. I could still be a tourist from Philly or Lawng Eyelind
The second one would be a much bigger problem, since I still haven't figured out how exactly I'm gonna photograph a philosophical belief....
