Ok, who'd win in a fight-Tom Laughlin (Billy Jack) or 70's era Chuck Norris?

Norris, hands down. It wouldn't even be close, and it would be very, very ugly for Billy.

I read a great quote from Chuck Norris when he was asked about other "film" matial arts stars and if he could take them: (paraphrased) "Absolutely. The big difference is I FOUGHT for a living"

Big difference indeed.

Um obviously the only person to even come close to Chuck Norris in a fight is Bruce Willis.

Coincidentally Billy Jack is one of iTunes 99 cent rentals this week.

And BTW, Steven Seagal could take them both. Seriously. Anderson Silva actually received some training from Seagal recently.

Chuck Norris was a real fighter and lost many fights. Billy Jack lost none because he is fictional. Edge Royce Gracie.

EDIT: Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan deserve a nod too, for being real fighters in movies, who could probably beat Norris. People seem to forget how hardcore and awesome Jackie Chan was at his best, think Drunken Master.
