They don't make em like they used to. You take away a iphone from a kid and make him march 3 blocks he'd have a stroke.

That's amazing that he survived at all, and had a relatively long life after being so brutally treated, malnourished, and no medical care in such awful jungle conditions. It's sad that the last survivor is gone. RIP Captain Brown, thank you for my freedom. Job well done.

I had an uncle who fought all the way through Europe, but he never talked about it. I wish he had. His name was Allenbach... think the Nazi's would have heaped some extra misery on a homeboy fighting for the other side had he been caught?

He died at 105. What would you call a long life?

Duh, I guess 105 is a long lifespan for just about any human, isn't it. Maybe I was just being optimistic.

May Major Brown rest in peace. May God bless his family. My hat's off in salute to this man who fought bravely for our country and fought bravely to survive what no soldier should endure.
