Olympic Hockey team selections.

Canada's list came out on the 30th.
There's a little controversy concerning certain selections but I like every player selected, Doughty was a surprise but he is a awesome offensive D-man.
The 3 goalies are all from QC,
IMO Canada & Russia are gonna be the 2 teams to best.

USA roster came out after the WC. No surprises that I saw. The USA will be out of medal contention by the end of the first intermission in their first game.

The Russians and Canadians look scary good. But so does Sweden. I am trying my hardest to score tickets to at least one game during the Olympics. It would a dream come true to see Sweden and Russia play.

I think the absence of Scott Gomez was a bit of a surprise. At least they are keeping the team really young this time.

Jonathan Toews used to play for the University of North Dakota so I'm rooting for the Canadian team if team USA doesn't bring their A game.

Going to be cheering for both Russia and Canada, as usual. Born in Canada, but my heritage is all Russian.

Nice to see three Devils and a former Devil on the team.

But Canada will be the team to beat IMO.

Canada and Russia have scary good teams. All the people that got passed over for Canada could form another metal contending team, that is scary. IMO Russia has the scariest top line ever created. Ovie, Malkin and Kolvochuck (I hate trying to spell Russian names), three of the best players to play in the last 20 years all on one line. Pure terror.

a bunch of old favorites are returning to the russian team too, but no zubov...
as i mentioned before, i'll be cheering for Finland because i like the style they play and many of the players on the team. however, i think the Russians are going to steal the gold from the home team.
