No really. I can't get on at all. Cmon man, I've got crops that need harvesting!!!! My mafia needs me!
JK, I don't do any of that gaming crap, but I do need to confirm some appointments before the night is over, mainly my babysitter for Saturday's gig.
Anyone else sans facebook right now? |

Now it's out of sheer curiosity that I pursue an answer.. |

I wouldn't mind if they succeeded. |

I wouldn't mind if they succeeded. | Me neither, there'd probably be about 1000 less automobile accidents per minute worldwide. Stupid drivers.
I will admit, I've come to rely on my mobile, and in turn facebook, for 99% of my communications. It's the prequel to the Matrix. |

I wouldn't mind if they succeeded. | That makes about as much sense as calling up the FBI a week in advance to tell them the exact date, time, and location that you are going to rob a bank. |

They recently hacked 70 police stations across the country and leaked nearly 10 gigs of info from their servers in retaliation for police going after hackers. They went after paypal earlier in the year for them refusing to process donation payments to Wikileaks. So yeah, I'm sure the folks over at Facebook are scrambling to ready themselves for whatever may come Nov. 5th.
I'll lose no sleep if they succeed in shutting down Facebook. Sure it wouldn't be permanent anyways.

Although it sounds like throwing stones at the ocean. Facebook's CDN can take a *massive* amount of dummy requests before it goes down, and there are fallbacks and support for situations like this.
Because of that, I'm very curious about the means Anonymous will use to attack a server network this huge.
