A 6 year old playing Grand Theft Auto. Atleast he learned how to drive from playing it.

Of course, the problem here is not videogames, it is in fact parents who do not look after their kids and allow them to play games which are classified as "for adults".

The kid should be able to seperate fiction and reality.

I don't think they were blaming the video games, I think they were more mentioning it as the reason he was able to drive 6 miles.

At least the kid was determined to go to school.

He thought he could drive a real car because of playing video games. I'd say he isn't very good at separating the two.

What a disappointment........ he needs to get better taste in cars.

If he could manage to drive, he could at least take a neighbor's car, something a little more upscale than a Ford Taurus.

Talk about a strong school ethic... Kid should get a medal.

...You know, after the punishment for the whole stealing his mom's car thing.

Man I feel sorry for that family. I'm sure they love there son and did not mean for this to happen. But I agree he shouldn't be playing adult video games.

I did something similar when I was a wee lad When I was 2 I crawled about 4 to 5 blocks from my house. I was picked up by the police and brought into the station with a fully loaded diaper non the less. The police went door to door with a picture of me. When they got to my house they asked my mom "Do you know this child" and she replies " Yes thats my son he is a sleep in his crib why?" So needless to say she was shocked. She received a ton of crap from the police for that but never charged thank god.
