| In Opera, they have a content blocker. You right click anywhere on the page, click "Block Content" and then you simply click on all ads you want to block. It may not be as efficient as the ad-blocker that does it automatically for you in Firefox, but it still works.
What it does is it blocks all ads from that host, so say the ad was from example.com, then it would block all ads from example.com. To block one specific instance of an ad, you can hold shift while selecting the ad.
Also, a pop-up blocker is included in Opera. It should be automatically set to "block unwanted pop-ups" but check this under Settings>Preferences
