4string-Check out chucks work. Some good reads. I haven't read the title that mike is talking about, but the rest are pretty good.

I didn't like that book at all.

His books try to make the bizarre seem normal* and it seems like he is able to do that for 3/4 of the book, but he just drops the ball for the ending of every book I've read by him. Lullaby could have ended so much better. Choke is probably the best book of his that I've read.

By contrast Don Delillo is excellent at this.
