I was reading today that if he ends up convicted and imprisoned, he'll lose his prosthetic limbs. I guess it's because they could be used as weapons?
It's a sad and disturbing story and a young woman's family is distraught beyond repair.
Lets reserve judgement until the verdict, eh?
Carry on.
Oh and yes, it's Pistorius. |

Oh and yes, it's Pistorius. | Are you saying he would have a leg up on the other inmates? |

Oh and yes, it's Pistorius. | It's pretty clear that he shot and killed the woman, Pistorius doesn't dispute that. The question is was it a case of mistaken identity i.e. he thought his girlfriend was a burglar hiding in the bathroom, though one wonders why if they're spending the night together why he would think it would be someone other than her in the bathroom because she obviously wasn't in the bed. |

Especially so for a huge celebrity. He is a huge target. I'm sure the defense will use that.

Could he have done things differently that would have not lead to her death? Absolutely.
However, if he was in bed, he probably wasn't wearing any prosthetics, which means he can't exactly run away from an intruder. This, combined with a realistic crime threat, are stepping stones that could have lead him to make a really bad decision in the moment.
Right now, none of us know for sure. |

There is blood on the bat and her skull is crushed.
There is no mistaken identity. He has a history of violence that as well.

| | | | Sorry to say, but I think they should hang him.
Shooting your girlfriend 4 times and beat her with a bat isn't a accident. She can't tell her side of the story, but they should give him the same punishment as what he did to her.
P.S. for the moderators : My apologizes that I sound so rude, I just can't stand these kind of things. If this message will be deleted and / or if I will get a Infraction, I fully understand and accept it.

When you suspect an intruder is in the bathroom - but you live with someone - you don't shoot first and ask questions later! You find out WHO THE HECK is in the bathroom before emptying the clip..
A normal person would've called out to see who was in the bathroom. They'd make sure it isn't someone who's supposed to be there.
At the very, very minimum he's guilty of something like negligent homicide.
And the cops think they can prove he had his legs on when he fired due to the angle of trajectory of the shots.
I think his story is nonsense.
