Unless Star Trek is up for an award, I predict I couldn't care less. That was the only movie I saw in the theater in '09

Oh man, you're missing out.

The list just came out, I'll put the nominees in the original post.

Also, Star Trek is up for best visual effects, against Avatar and District 9.
My money's on avatar, for that one.

Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus got a nod for best art direction, which is nice, but I'm not sure how many Academy members have seen it, plus its up against Avatar, which will undoubtedly steamroll everything on the editing/technical front.

Except for Best Actress, will which go to Sandra Bullock for "All About Steve"

Lack of Moon = fail.

If Avatar wins Best Picture or Transformers wins Best Sound I will be very upset.
