Want to communicate with our daughter. How much is it going to cost me? Can I just use any IM service?

You can download Skype for free and make video calls. You can also do it through MSN messenger.

I'm in the military and I use skype to communicate with my family. I just got a $30 webcam and it works like a charm.

You can also use Google (gmail). Again, free.
