So I'm shoving some crap over in a bucket of tools to make room for a few more & grab right onto the edge of a handsaw, ripping the tips of my right middle & bird fingers open nicely.
OUCH.
Dagnabbit- I have a gig on Saturday; I'll be OK by tomorrow night, but I'd really like to practice a few of the tunes beforehand.
Ironically, I had just weaselled out of an upcoming gig w/another band- I just don't want to do that one but I was very much looking forward to Saturday- I'd just about deliberately cut my fingertips off to avoid the second one.
OUCH.
Gonna go grab some fingertip bandaids now...

It's thin(so you can wrap it so that it doesn't effect your joints), real sticky and won't sweat off. I use it when my frets rip open the side of my left index finger, and the other day when I cut my index pitting and avocado.  |

crazy glue was created to seal up skin, maybe worth a try, but the med tape sounds a little safer.
good luck, dude. extreme way to get out of a sub gig, i must say.

In the presence of water (or supple, moist human tissue) cyanoacrylate polymerises quickly. In laymans terms, this means that if you put super glue on a cut it becomes skin. Just be sure you don't use too much.
Oh, and if the cut is really deep into your meat, don't even bother. It might do more harm than good.
