Our myspace page has been Deleted?

Sign in to disble this ad
Somehow my band's myspace page has been deleted. The band leader and I are the only ones who have access and we didn't take it down. We didnt break any rules or anything to cause myspace to remove it.

We didnt get any notice from myspace that they were going to delete it. We had over 5000 legit views and over 150 contacts thru our myspace. And now it seems to be all gone. What a bummer. I sent myspace an email yesterday morning but have heard nothing yet.

Anyone have ideas as to what might have happened?

Has this happened to anyone else?

That happened to one of my friends. Her myspace got phished and someone got her login and password (through one of those fake log-in pages) and then someone logged in and sent out all these ads through her page which broke the Terms of Service so they deleted her page.

Good news is she got it all straightened out through myspace and got her page back just the way it was. Keep contacting them!

Could have been a phising scam, did you have any cover songs up on your page?

We had one cover song, "I'm Going Home" by Gene Vincent. Its a pretty obscure song and we DO have correct copyright for it as its on our forthcoming album. 10 years After re-vamped it for Woodstock.

Really hope we can get that page back!

I actually know that song (because I've seen the Woodstock movie like 1,000 times!). Sucks about your page. Definitely try to get ahold of Myspace. There's gotta be a phone number that you can call or something.

Maybe your music was so bad they did a few preemptive measures to hurt as few ear drums as possible...

Someone probably phished your account though.

Thanks guys. Myspace got back to us and said they will try to have it back up in 48hrs. No reason given why it was deleted though.
