We all know pants are man's most inconvenient invention by far, no question about that but....

When is it socially acceptable to remove one's pants? any thoughts?

When surfing. When having sex. When dropping the kids off at the pool.

That is definitely an appropriate time to drop the drawers.

I'm not talking dropping them. I like to take them all the way off. I like to take my shirt off too for some reason. This is when I crowning on my own personal crown. I don't take my shirt off in public bathrooms.

When visiting the doctor...

It's also a must for "kalsarikännit", which is a Finnish term for drinking alcohol at home in your underwear (and perhaps a T-shirt), for instance on a Friday night when you don't really feel like going out and be social, but want to drink a few beers anyway. And perhaps watch a movie or surf on the internet....

Yep, at least in Finnish. There's no Swedish word for it AFAIK. (I speak Swedish as my native language so I should know if there is one). Perhaps Rune or some other true Swede could help here: have you ever heard the word "Kalsongfylla" being used in Swedish?
