NO, YOUR SICK KID IS NOT CUTE. Telling him to STOP COUGHING will NOT prevent him from getting me sick or will it stop the cough.
Not cool!
Just to recap, sick kids are not cute in no way shape or farm. Telling someone to not be sick DOES NOT ACTUALLY MAKE THE PERSON NOT SICK.
Now, talk among yourselves.

I had to got to the emergency room cause I started throwing up blood. The doc told me it was normal if you throw up a bunch..something about tears in the stomach....who knows....but yeah..... |

I've taught them the "cough into the crook of your elbow" trick, it's supposed to be more effective then covering your mouth with a hand... doesn't work. The sheer volume of germs being launched around overwhelms any preventative measures.

Not very hard things to teach also kids old enough to understand what you say.

Last fall I asked my doctor what I could do to keep from getting my kid sick when I'm not feeling well and she gave me a list of simple things to do (washing hands etc.). When I asked her what I could do to keep my kid from getting me sick . . . she LAUGHED at me.
